I just re-discovered this blog! Wow!

Okay, I know I haven't been updating very much ever since I resurrected this blog. Oops. It's like everything else in my life right now, all running late beyond deadlines. Bleah.

mind-warped

Today, someone told me that my masters degree was equivalent to a local honours degree. I don't even know how to even begin to explain how exasperated I felt.

(linear dynamical systems, goddamned matrices, buggy code all screaming to be heard and recognised for what it's worth)

Most days, it's alright having an irrelevant degree. Some days, though, when you hear that your degree somehow got downgraded in value, and your work seems to insult your intelligence, you just wanna kill someone.

Looking back

Succumbing to the urge to blog again, I wanted to keep the account but get rid of the old posts from university just because they felt so dated. So I started deleting them but got distracted, and when I returned to the blog it turned out that the next entry up for deletion was posted exactly a year ago!

I'm a sucker for fate and coincidences. So I'm going to take that as a sign and leave the rest of the posts around. I'm gonna take a poll and see who's actually going to be interested in this blog. Do drop me a line. You know where to find me. Well, if you don't, I probably don't care too much if you're reading this. :)

Not being very productive these days. Just finished reading Cryptonomicon, and it was absolutely hilarious. It's a mega geeky book, i think, but it's still damn funny. Need to stop reading so much fiction and grow up soon. Yucks. till pondering over what to do with my life etc. And considering moving/getting rid of/abandoning this blog. Who even reads it nowadays? Seems like life is really moving along. Friends are getting married, starting work, going to work overseas and it'll be god-knows-how-many years before i see them again. Even the guys who evaded NS for 4 years are going back in  already. Damn it.
